Common questions

01

Scanning schedules

Use clear photos, PDFs, shared files, or Magic Add text. If the result looks off, edit the event before adding it.

02

Calendar access

SnapToCal uses writable calendars already available on your Android device. If you added or deleted a calendar, use Refresh calendars in Family or Settings. If it is still missing, check Google Calendar sync on your phone and refresh again.

03

Revised schedules in the command-center preview

If your version includes Schedules, Pro lets you find a recent import and choose Check revised schedule (or Check for newer changes). Submit the complete revised schedule, review added, moved, and canceled events, then approve the changes. SnapToCal does not monitor websites or inboxes for schedule changes automatically.

04

Shared household preview

Where the household preview is available, a Pro owner can invite another member with a code from Family. The recipient opens Family, chooses Join with an invite, and pastes the code. Each member selects calendars available on their own phone; an invitation does not grant access to someone else's Google Calendar. Preview accounts are tied to one installation and cannot be recovered after app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

05

SnapToCal Pro

Premium status is verified through Google Play. Use Restore Purchases if you subscribed and the app has not refreshed yet.

06

Deleting data

Request deletion from the delete-data page. Google Play subscriptions must be managed separately through Google Play.

Helpful details to send

  • Your device model and Android version.
  • Whether you were scanning a photo, PDF, shared file, or typed text.
  • A screenshot of the issue if it does not include sensitive schedule information.
  • Your Google Play order ID for subscription questions.
  • Your Account ID if it is displayed on the app's Account screen. This helps locate records; we may need additional verification for deletion requests.
  • For household issues, whether you are the owner or a member and whether you still have access to the original app installation. Never include an invitation code or account access token.
