Account and data
Delete SnapToCal account data
Request deletion of account data associated with SnapToCal. We verify each request before removing eligible data.
How to request deletion
Email support with “Delete my SnapToCal data” in the subject. Current Android accounts are anonymous and are not linked to an email address. Tell us that you are requesting deletion, whether you own or joined a shared household, and whether you still have access to the app. If your Account screen shows an Account ID, include it to help locate the right records. We will help identify the account and verify the request before deleting it.
Keep the app installed and do not clear its storage until verification is complete. Never email passwords, access tokens, purchase tokens, or household invitation codes. An account identifier or Google Play order ID can help locate records but does not, on its own, prove ownership. If you already lost access, tell support; we cannot promise recovery or deletion of an account we cannot verify belongs to you.
Request deletionData we delete
- SnapToCal account profile and app account records.
- Server-side scan usage and entitlement records tied to your account.
- Household memberships and invitations tied to your account. Deleting a household owner's account also deletes that household and its shared profiles for all members.
- Legacy server-side event history records, if an older app version created any.
- Account-linked product diagnostics stored by SnapToCal backend services.
- Support data that is not needed for legal, billing, fraud prevention, or security reasons.
Data that may remain
- Google Play billing and transaction records that must be retained for tax, accounting, refund, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
- Calendar events already added to your Google or device calendar. You control those in your calendar app.
- Support messages you sent to us when retention is needed to complete or document your request.
- Shared profiles in a household you joined but do not own, and copies already downloaded by other members until their devices refresh or local app data is cleared.
Timing and subscriptions
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days after verification. Deleting SnapToCal data does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed in Google Play.
Current versions keep recent event history and a household cache on your device. After your request has been verified, clear SnapToCal's app storage or uninstall the app to remove its local data. This does not delete backend account or household records and does not remove events already added to your calendar. It also loses access to the installation-bound household account.
Questions about deletion can also be sent from the support page. You can read more about data handling in the privacy policy.
